A Family-Owned Business
We have what seems like an endless supply of options when it comes to makeup. One does this and costs that amount and another does that and costs this amount. So what would possess us to create our own makeup company and start with only one product? It’s simple: We wanted to create a foundation that looks great while also providing superior hydration. If you are going to be wearing the foundation all day long, it might as well be working for you and include ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, peptides, and Vitamin E, which are found in premium moisturizers. And we took it one important step further: All ingredients had to score a 1 on EWG’s Skin Deep® Hazard Scale.
We knew this task wasn’t going to be easy and spent over two years working on the perfect formula. The first few rounds looked great but didn’t provide enough hydration. We could have decided to just come out with a foundation that looks great but doesn’t hydrate well, or compromised on hydrating ingredients that didn’t score a 1 in EWG’s database. But we didn’t. We kept working with our chemist in the USA, going round after round with various formulations committed to achieving our initial goals. The result is now bottled in six color variations.
So why did we name our brand Face of Mind? It’s about you. It’s about the product.
